The Offspring Celebrates Milestones with 8-Bit Video & Fighter Jet Adventure
The Offspring, legendary punk rock band, has unveiled two exciting new music videos, each offering a fresh twist on their signature sound and style.
The first video reimagines their iconic hit “The Kids Aren’t Alright” in 8-bit format, marking a significant milestone: the track recently surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify. The nostalgic animation transports viewers into an Offspring-themed, retro video game. Featuring pixelated versions of frontman Dexter Holland and guitarist Noodles, the video follows the duo as they navigate a Super Mario-inspired level filled with nods to their music and career.
The second video pairs their hard-hitting track “Light It Up” from their latest album, SUPERCHARGED, with adrenaline-pumping aerial footage. Dubbed the “fighter jet video,” it features scenes of Holland—who is a licensed pilot—taking to the skies in an Albatross aircraft, showcasing his impressive flying skills.
Fans can now watch these creative projects on The Offspring’s official YouTube channel, where the band continues to push boundaries and celebrate their enduring legacy in the music world.
